The copper nose is a connecting component used for connecting wires and cables to electrical equipment. The top side is for fixing the screw edge, and the end is the copper core of the wire or cable after the skin has been stripped.

How to use a copper nose
Copper nose, also known as wire nose, copper connection nose, copper tube nose, terminal block, etc., has different names in various places and industries. It is a connecting component used for connecting wires and cables to electrical equipment. The top side is for fixing the screw edge, and the end is the copper core of the wire and cable after the skin has been stripped. Copper noses are used for wires larger than 10 square meters. For wires smaller than 10 square meters, copper noses are not used and cold-pressed wire noses are adopted instead. Copper noses can be classified into tin-plated and non-tin-plated types, as well as tube-pressed and oil-blocked types.
Main scope of application
Household appliances, electrical industry, machinery and equipment factories, shipyards, distribution cabinets and boxes, etc. The product has good appearance specifications, excellent electrical conductivity and is safe.
Model 1: DT is made of T2 copper rods. The product has a spatula round head appearance and can be used for sealing and oil blocking. The top side is for fixing screws, and the end can be inserted into the stripped cable and pressed tightly with terminal pliers.
Model 2: DTG is made by stamping T2 copper tubes and is slightly lighter than DT. It can replace DT in connections where sealing and oil blocking are not required. The workmanship is simpler and faster than that of DT, and the price is also relatively cheaper.
There are two commonly used surface treatments:
1. Pickling: The color after pickling is basically the same as the original color of red copper, which can make it look good, resist oxidation and be more conducive to electrical conductivity.
2. Tin plating: After tin plating, the surface of the copper nose becomes silver-white, which can better prevent oxidation and conduct electricity, and also prevent the diffusion of harmful gases produced during the conductive process of copper.
Installation precautions
1. The screws must be tightened.
2. The cable and the copper nose must be inserted in place and pressed tightly with pliers.
