低烟无卤阻燃聚烯烃辐照材料性能与辐照加工具有特殊性，故在辐照时应注意以下几点：
a. 辐照前检查每根电缆头的导体是否充分接地，严禁电缆在没接地的情况下辐照。
b. 绝缘线芯及护套层辐照时吸收剂量以热延伸试验合格为准。
c. 经辐照的绝缘线芯及护套层表面应光洁、无油污，色泽无明显区别，不允许有擦伤、起毛、开裂、气泡等现象，印字应清晰耐擦。
d. 辐照升降速时牵引和收线速度应与束流调节动作协调，避免过剂量或剂量不足。
e. 绝缘线芯及护套层辐照后需接地充分放电，并停放48h，方可转入下道工序。
