Flame-retardant control cable

Plastic insulated (shielded) control cables are suitable for control, monitoring circuits and protection lines with an AC rated voltage of U0/U of 450/750V and below, and are used as control wiring between electrical equipment.

The main feature of flame-retardant cables is that they are not easy to catch fire or, if they do, the flame spread is only limited to a certain range. They are suitable for occasions with high requirements for flame-retardant performance.

The main feature of fire-resistant control cables is that they can not only transmit electricity under normal working conditions but also maintain normal operation for a certain period of time when on fire. They are suitable for applications where fire resistance is required.

Flame-retardant type

According to the GB/T19666 standard, flame-retardant cables should have ZA, ZB, ZC, and ZD added before the common model.

The rated voltage U0/U is 450/750V.

The long-term allowable operating temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 70℃.

3. The temperature for cable laying should not be lower than 0℃. The recommended allowable bending radius is as follows: For cables without armor layer, it should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable. For cables with armored or copper tape shielding structures, it should be no less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable. For flexible cables with a shielding layer structure, it should be no less than six times the outer diameter of the cable.

4. The flame retardant performance of flame-retardant cables (wires) shall pass the combustion test for bundled wires and cables as stipulated in GB/T18380 and IEC60332.

5. The fire resistance performance of fire-resistant cables (wires) shall pass the fire resistance tests stipulated in GB/T19216.21 and IEC60331.
