Bendakang was officially established on October 27, 1997.

On July 15, 1998, the Shenzhen Evening News reported on the "Market Spot Check Report" of the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision regarding wires and cables in Shenzhen. Among the only four qualified product samples with a sampling pass rate of only 16%, two were from the Bendakang brand. Bendakang drew media attention for the first time. This report dealt a strong blow to the entire chaotic wire and cable market in Shenzhen, triggering a reshuffling of the industry and thus enabling the "Bendakang" brand to take shape initially in the market. This is the first milestone in the development history of Bendakang.
