Solid polyethylene insulated radio frequency cables are cables that transmit electromagnetic energy within the radio frequency range. Radio frequency cables are indispensable components in various radio communication systems and electronic equipment, and are widely used in wireless communication and broadcasting, television, radar, navigation, computers and instruments, etc. There are two commonly used types of RF coaxial cables: 50Ω and 75Ω RF coaxial cables. Rf coaxial cables with a characteristic impedance of 75Ω are often used in CATV networks, thus they are called CATV cables. Their transmission bandwidth can reach 1GHz. Currently, the transmission bandwidth of commonly used CATV cables is 750 MHZ.


Physical foamed polyethylene insulated coaxial cables for cable television systems are suitable for main lines, branch lines, user lines and other electronic devices used in cable television systems.

SYV-50, SYV-75: Solid core polyethylene insulated polyvinyl chloride sheathed radio frequency coaxial cables


Coaxial cable is a specially designed device for transmitting video signals. It uses direct modulation technology and transmits in the form of baseband frequency (approximately 8MHz bandwidth). The amplitude of frequency loss, image distortion and image attenuation is relatively small, and it can well complete the task of transmitting video signals. Generally, dedicated SYV-75Ω series coaxial cables are adopted. The commonly used model for cable TV systems is SYWV-75-5 (its non-relay transmission distance for video signals is generally 300-500 meters). When the distance is long, coaxial cables such as SYWV75-7, SYWV75-9 or even SYWV75-12 should be used (in actual engineering, the transmission distance of thick cables without relays can reach over 1km).


2. Operating environmental conditions: The ambient temperature for polyvinyl chloride sheathed cables should be -25 to +70℃, and for polyethylene sheathed cables, it should be -40 to +70℃. When the temperature is 40±2℃, the relative humidity of the environment should be 90% to 95%.
