This product is suitable for power transmission systems with a rated voltage of U0/U ranging from 3.6/6kV to 26/35kV. The main installation locations include underground direct burial, pipe threading, ground cable trenches, underground tunnels, cable interlayers in substations, or local open-air installation, etc. The rated voltage of the cable should be suitable for the operating conditions of the system where the cable is located. To facilitate the selection of cables, the system is classified into three series:


Class A: When any phase conductor comes into contact with the ground or the grounding conductor, it can be separated from the system within 1 minute.


Class B: It can operate for a short time in the event of a single-phase ground fault. According to the provisions of JB/T8996, the duration of a ground fault should not exceed 1 hour. For the cables included in this standard, a longer operating time with a fault is allowed, but under no circumstances should it exceed 8 hours. The annual duration of a ground fault should not exceed 125 hours.


Class C: This includes systems that do not fall under Class A or Class B.


It should be recognized that when a system grounding fault cannot be immediately and automatically eliminated, the excessively high electric field intensity applied to the cable insulation during the fault period will, to a certain extent, shorten the cable's lifespan. If the system is expected to frequently operate under persistent ground fault conditions, it should be classified as Class C.

According to the GB/T19666 standard, flame-retardant cables should have ZA, ZB, ZC, and ZD added before the common model.


During normal operation, the working temperature of the cable conductor does not exceed 90℃.


2. When a short circuit occurs (lasting no more than 5 seconds), the temperature of the cable conductor shall not exceed 250℃.


When laying cables, the ambient temperature should not be lower than 0℃.


4. The bending radius of the cable shall comply with the following provisions:


Single-core cables: When installing unarmored cables, the bending radius shall not be less than 20 times the outer diameter of the cable; when installing armored cables, the bending radius shall not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable.


Multi-core cables: When installing unarmored cables, the bending radius shall not be less than 15 times the outer diameter of the cable; when installing armored cables, the bending radius shall not be less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable.
